Connecting Science and Careers
By supporting students in reflecting on their interests, goals, and possible careers, teachers and counselors can help guide students towards careers that are most fitting for them. Many students may not realize how their possible career paths connect to science. By understanding Career Development resources, teachers can help students make these connections to see how science practices support their career aspirations.

The My Career Story resource supports students in taking a detailed inventory of their interests and talents throughout their lives. These pieces then can help guide students toward a path that best suits their most authentic selves.

These eight indicators are used to support teachers and counselors in guiding students (K-12) to find careers aligned to their interests, skills, and circumstances.
